Video – Emergency Services Respond to Spill in Cobourg Harbour

Emergency services attended the Cobourg Marina on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 for reports of a fuel spill in the harbour.

Cobourg Fire Department, members from the Canadian Coast Guard and marina staff could see a sheen on the water along the marina wall at approximately 7:15 p.m.

After checking a number of boats docks, the original of the spill was found and later the boat was removed from the water for repairs.

The liquid was believed to be power steering fluid.
