Cobourg’s Trent Clow and Lauchlan Whelan are among 120 participants at the Ontario Hockey League’s Futures Camp Friday through Sunday in St. Catharines.

Both played for the Quinte Red Devils U16 AAA team this past season and are eligible for next month’s OHL Priority Selection draft. The camp features some of the top players from Ontario and United States eligible for the draft.

Friday’s schedule at the Futures Camp includes off-ice fitness training and team practices. Clow is playing for Team Sennecke and Whelan for Team Cowan.

Each team at the camp will play two games Saturday and one Sunday. Clow and Whelan’s teams are not scheduled to play each other.

The 2026 OHL Priority Selection will be held in-person for the first time in 25 years on June 12 and 13 at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston.
