One person was taken to hospital after a vehicle drove into the front entrance of an apartment building in Cobourg on Friday, May 29, 2026.
At approximately 10:08 a.m., emergency services were dispatched after a vehicle drove through the front doors of an apartment building at 86 Munroe Street, striking a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was reportedly pinned during the collision, but had been freed by the time emergency crews arrived on scene.
The condition of the pedestrian is not known.
The elderly driver of the vehicle was shaken, but did not suffer serious injuries.
Cobourg Police Service are investigating the collision.
