Pedestrian Struck in Downtown Campbellford Deceased Identified

(CAMPBELLFORD, ON) –On February 12, 2018 at 11:04 a.m. the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Bridge Street East at Front Street North in Campbellford.

The victim, a 56 year old Trent Hills woman, was transported to hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced deceased.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators/Reconstructionists are presently at scene assisting detachment members with the investigation.

The deceased has now been identified as Lisa Anne BREDIN age 56 of Hastings, Ontario.

The investigation continues in to the cause of the collision.
