Hydro Foiler Enjoying The Winds of 2024 in Cobourg

In Local, Weather

Hydro-foiler Mike Jakic took to the challenge of conquering the wind and waves of Cobourg Harbour on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Jakic was in the harbour basin and the waves of Lake Ontario pounded over the break walls.

Back on shore after approximately 45-minutes he estimated his speed on the water at approximately 50 kph with the rain pellets almost blinding him from the 25-40 knot gusts.
