Breaking News – Transport In Ditch West of Grafton On Highway 401

In Police Blotter

There were no injuries after a transport went off Highway 401 and into a ditch west of Grafton on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Emergency services were called shortly after 8 a.m. after a westbound transport when off the westbound lanes of Highway 401 between Eagleson bridge overpass and Gully Road bridge.

It will take several hours to remove the tractor trailer that was hauling over 41,000 pounds of rolled plastic and there will likely be a lane restriction.

The driver was uninjured in the collision and there is no word on charges.
