Three Vehicle Collision On County Road 2 In Hamilton Township

Three drivers were sent to hospital following a three vehicle collision on County Road 2 between Cobourg and Port Hope on April 23, 2019 in Hamilton Township.
Emergency services were dispatched shortly before 1:30 p.m. to the collision.
All the vehicles were heading eastbound when the rear-end collision occurred.
One vehicle was stopped to turn into a driveway when it was struck from behind. Another vehicle also failed to stop and struck the second vehicle from behind.
The roadway was closed for approximately 30 minutes and Highway Traffic Act charges are pending.
