Community Leaders Invited to Help Shape the Future of Campbellford Memorial Hospital

In Community, Local

Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) is calling on engaged, community-minded individuals to step forward and help guide the future of local healthcare.

As the hospital prepares for the 2026–27 board year, CMH is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving as a Director on the Hospital’s Board of Directors as well as Community Members interested in serving on its standing Board committees.

These governance roles offer a meaningful opportunity to contribute skills, experience, and perspective at a pivotal time for the hospital. CMH is entering an important period of growth, with major work underway related to redevelopment, long-term planning, and the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

“Serving in a governance role at CMH is a chance to make a real, lasting impact on healthcare in our region,” said Jeff Hohenkerk, President and CEO of Campbellford Memorial Hospital. “We’re looking for individuals who care deeply about CMH and want to help shape its future through meaningful leadership and collaboration.”

Board Directors play a key role in providing oversight, accountability, and strategic direction for the organization, while Community Members serving at the committee level contribute valuable insight and expertise through committee work. Together, these roles support strong governance and help ensure CMH continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

CMH welcomes applications from individuals with diverse professional backgrounds, lived experiences, and community connections. Those with an interest in healthcare, governance, finance, quality and safety, community engagement, or strategic planning are especially encouraged to consider applying.

Information about Board and Committee roles, responsibilities, eligibility and how to apply are available on the hospital’s website at cmh.ca/board-of-directors
