Valentine’s Day Fundraiser: Pre-Order Cookies & a Cuddly Keepsake to Support the YMCA Strong Communities Campaign

YMCA Northumberland is thrilled to announce their continued partnership with Roda’s Kitchen of
Cobourg to offer beautiful handmade shortbread cookies as part of a Valentine’s Day fundraiser supporting the Strong Communities Campaign for 2026. A sweet YMCA Shine On Bear, perfect to delight all ages, is also being sold as part of the fundraiser.

These delicious treats and cute bear are available to pre-order as of January 22, 2026. Both are great gifts that give back while you get your Valentine’s shopping done early. Each purchase supports YMCA Northumberland’s vital initiatives which help provide essential programs and services to individuals and families across our region.

• Pre-Order Cookie Boxes for $25/box of five (5) individually wrapped shortbread cookies*

• Pre-Order YMCA Shine On Bear for $20/bear

• How to Pre-Order: Place pre-orders at Membership Services at any YMCA Northumberland location or online at https://ymcanrt.org/valentines-fundraiser

• Pre-Order Deadline: February 6, 2026.

• Pick-Up Dates: February 12 to 14, 2026, at YMCA locations in Brighton, Campbellford, and Cobourg.

Each cookie box features 5 one-of-a-kind heart-shaped shortbread cookies, crafted by Roda’s Kitchen using simple, quality ingredients and a lot of love. They are a delightful addition to any Valentine’s celebration.

New for 2026 – YMCA Northumberland is also offering the YMCA Shine On Bear for $20. This adorable bear from Soft Stuff Creations Inc., Surrey, B.C. will spread cheer and smiles on Valentine’s Day and can be a solo gift or a lovely companion to the cookies.
