More frustrations for residents of the Pebble Beach area as a boil water advisory has been issued.
Notices are being hand delivered to affected homes
The Town of Cobourg would like to inform community members a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for residents located in the Pebble Beach Neighbourhood of Cobourg.
The precautionary boil-water advisory has been issued as part of the watermain connection taking place. Lakefront Utilities staff are going door-to-door today affixing boil-water notices to each home affected, including on Pebble Beach Drive, Glen Watford Road, Ravensdale Road, Cedar Lea Lane, Tracy Road, and King Street West (approximately 0.6 km west of Burnham Street).
Residents in the affected area are asked to please review the notice and follow all
instructions.

The water service is planned to be back on
by the end of the day (Tuesday, October 14). However, bacterial testing must pass prior to the
boil-water advisory being lifted.
Bacterial testing results will take a minimum of 24 hours from the time of testing. Lakefront Utilities will provide notice when the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. The Town of Cobourg will also provide an update on the Town’s News Centre (www.Cobourg.ca/news) and Facebook page.
