Video – White Out Conditions Pose a Challenge for Drivers North of Cobourg

White out conditions proved challenging for drivers north of Cobourg on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

High winds and blowing snow on County Road 18 (Burnham Street North) in Hamilton Township from Telephone Road to Danforth Road West created white-out conditions at times for drivers shortly after 1 p.m.

It’s an area well known for treacherous driving conditions during the winter months.

A pick-up truck appeared to have rear-ended another vehicle as they both were traveling southbound through the area.

Southbound lanes were shut down as emergency crews attended the scene.

It’s believed there were no serious injuries in the collision.
