OPP Conducting Investigation at Request of Durham Regional Police Service

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is conducting an investigation into criminal allegations brought forth by the City of Pickering Council.

On November 15, 2024, the Durham Regional Police Service, in compliance with the Community Safety and Policing Act, requested the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigate criminal allegations brought forth by the City of Pickering Council.

The investigation is currently being led by the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

As this is an ongoing investigation, the OPP will not be providing any further comments at this time.
