Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Assault and Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 38-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after police investigate a report of assault.

On Saturday, September 7, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a Cobourg resident attended the Cobourg Police Service to report that they had been a victim of an unprovoked assault by an unknown suspect the night prior.

As a result of the police investigation, the suspect was found in the area of the Cobourg Ecology Garden and arrested.

A 38-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with assault and fail to comply with probation.

The accused was held for a Show Cause Hearing and subsequently released with conditions.
