High Level Names in Cobourg Given Subpoenas for Peace Bond

In Local

A number of upper management with the Town of Cobourg were given subpoenas to appear at a Peace Bond hearing later this week.

Cobourg Police Chief Paul VandeGraaf, Town Clerk Brent Larmer, Counciller Adam Bureau and Cobourg Police Sgt. Janice MacDonald were given subpoenas for the Peace Bond hearing that Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland has brought against Robert Horgan.

The Peace Bond hearing will be held at a later day, but Manager of Communications, Kara Euale told Today’s Northumberland that on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 “the Superior Court of Justice will be reviewing an application from representatives of the Town of Cobourg to quash subpoenas for Town employees to testify.”
