City of Kawartha Lakes Police – Theft Charges (Name Released)

On January 28, 2023 at 9:32am Kawartha Lakes Police were called to the area of Russell Street West after a female was heard calling for help.

A staff member, from a business in the area assisted the female.

Police attended and spoke to the female who reported being involved in an altercation with a male known to her, which resulted in a theft.

As a result of an investigation 39-year-old Raymond Steele of Lindsay has been charged with theft under $5000 and fail to comply with probation order X2.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on March 9, 2023.
