Fire Crews Dispatched To Beyond The Blue Box in Cobourg

Cobourg Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Beyond the Blue Box on Covert Street in Cobourg.

Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 8:30 p.m. and when crews arrived there was no sign of fire.

Through investigation fire crews spotted aa small fire on the west side of the building and quickly extinguished a cardboard box against the building.

Firefighters believe the fire was started because of carelessness and no further action was taken.

There was no damage to the building.
