Final Radio Transmission from OPP Smiths Falls Communications Centre

On Monday, July 18, 2022 the Ontario Provincial Police Communications Centre in Smiths Falls gave their last radio broadcast.

The Communications Centre employed just over 100 OPP members.

Orillia Communications took over dispatch formerly operated by Smiths Falls.

Northumberland OPP was not dispatched by Smiths Falls at the time of closure.
