Crowe’s Carwash Offers Much More Than Just A Clean Vehicle

In Community, Local

A Alderville First Nation man has created a car wash in honour of his brother who died tragically six years ago.

But Crowe’s Carwash offers much more than just a car wash explains owner Larry Crowe.

The facility opened approximately three weeks ago on County Road 45 at Alderville First Nation.

Crowe’s brother Brad was tragically killed from carbon monoxide while working on a building.

“All he ever wanted was to get ahead in life.”

“We invested in this in memory of my brother.”

It offers many amenities that previously weren’t available in the area says Crowe.

Crowe’s Carwash offers a touchless drive-thru carwash ($8, $10 and $12) along with two enclosed wash bays.

A unique fixture is a third wash area for anything from tractors to transports.

“It’s convenient for a lot of people with big trucks or machinery to wash them.”

There are also two vacuums for cleaning vehicles.

Another unique item to the area is a propane filling station which Crowe says is the only one from Hastings to Cobourg.

The Crowe’s Nest Charcoal Grill BBQ is open on weekends with everything from garlic shrimp, souvlaki, vegetarian spring roll, egg rolls and of course burgers and fries.

Hours of Crowe’s Carwash are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
