Port Hope Police – One Person Arrested Following Break and Enter (No Name Released)

On February 2, 2026, members of the Port Hope Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in Port Hope. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested an adult male at the rear door of the residence. No one was inside the home at the time of the incident.

Police determined the accused was bound by three active Probation Orders stemming from previous offences in the Peterborough area. The accused was held for a bail hearing and was subsequently remanded into custody.

The suspect is charged with Break & Enter and 3 x Fail to Comply with Probation Order
