Peaceful Times Along The Lakeshore in Cobourg

In Local

The crowds are in Cobourg this summer due to COVID-19, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t activity along the shoreline.

In Victoria Park two friends were deep in conversation while two people just sat on a bench overlooking the beach along with the artwork of Jenny Duda.

The Rest in Peace Memorial has a number of feathers place in the artwork in tribute to loved ones who have passed away.

Along the beach the buoys are set up just off the beach. Although there are no people on the beach, the buoys were installed to deter boaters from getting to close to the shoreline.

The west boardwalk has installed indicating there is no life guard on duty, the water is not tested, strong under tow and advising people to watch their step.
