Teen Arrested After Stabbing in Whitby

A 21-year-old Whitby male is recovering from injuries after being stabbed by his brother.

On Friday March 30, 2018 at approximately 5:35 p.m. members of Central West Division responded to a residence in the area of Cochrane Street and Rossland Road in Whitby for a family dispute. Police arrived and located a 21-year-old male with injuries consistent with a knife wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police arrested a 15-year-old sibling in the residence.

A 15-year-old male of Whitby, is charged with Aggravated Assault and Weapons Dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing.
