Country Music Artist Helps Out at Tim Hortons Camp Day in Colborne

In Charity, Editor Choice, Local

It was a party atmosphere at Tim Hortons in Colborne on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 as they celebrated Camp Day.

On Wednesday, Tim Hortons restaurant owners across Canada donated 100% of the proceeds from hot and iced coffee sales. Those funds send youth from local communities to Tims Camps to learn new skills and grow through a multi-year, leadership development program.

Country music artist Jeremy Macklin entertained the crowd from his pickup truck while members of the Tim Hortons staff along with Cramahe Township Fire Department helped out with the drive-thru.

A challenge between two staff members about who raised the most money would get a pie in the face ended in a tie with both of them getting smeared for a good cause.
