Durham Police – Suspect Wanted Following Commercial Robbery in Oshawa

Investigators are looking for a male suspect after a restaurant was robbed in Oshawa on Sunday night.

On Sunday, March 3, 2019, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Little Caesars restaurant on Bloor Street in Oshawa.  A male suspect entered the store and demanded cash. Two clerks were in the store at the time and one was punched by the suspect. The suspect left the store empty handed and it’s believed he drove away in a dark-coloured vehicle.  Officers searched the area with negative results. One of the clerks suffered minor injuries. No weapon was seen.

The suspect is described as:  male, white, about 5’10” with a thin build. He had short dark brown hair and was wearing a black winter jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes. His head and face were covered by his hood.

The suspect vehicle is described as: a dark-coloured vehicle. 

Anyone with new information about this investigation is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
