Trent Hills Pride is proud to announce the return of the Trent Hills Pride Festival 2026, a vibrant, multi-day celebration taking place throughout the municipality in June. The festival brings together residents and visitors for a series of inclusive events that celebrate 2SLGBTQ+ identities, promote understanding, and strengthen community connections.

Kick-Off: Pride Flag Raisings
Flag raisings mark the official start of Pride Month, symbolizing visibility, inclusion, and community solidarity.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening
Date: June 4, 2026
Location: Aron Theatre Co-op, Campbellford
Time: Pre-show at 6:00 PM; screening at 7:00 PM
A cult-classic Pride tradition featuring costumes, audience participation, and prizes for best-dressed attendees. Tickets include a prop bag for the full interactive experience.

Storytime with Betty Baker & Butch
Date: June 6, 2026

11:00am – Acorn Room (65 Bridge St E Campbellford)
2:00 PM – Warkworth Library (40 Main St, Warkworth)
A free, family-friendly storytelling experience celebrating self-expression, creativity, and belonging through interactive performance.

Pride in the Park: Warkworth Magic
Date: June 6, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: Mill Creek Park Bandshell, Warkworth
The festival’s signature outdoor celebration featuring live performances from The Trash Panda Brass Band, Evangeline Gentle, North of Normal, and our dear Queens Betty, Sahira, Corey, Banshii and Madelaine. Music, food, and a beer garden, bringing the community together under the Warkworth Magic. Special participation, The Peterborough Academy of Circus Acts!

Voices of Resilience Panel
Date: June 10, 2026

Location: Aron Theatre Co-op
A powerful intergenerational discussion highlighting the lived experiences of 2SLGBTQ+ seniors in rural communities, encouraging dialogue, understanding, and connection.

Special Film Screening: The Chess of the Wind
In partnership with Trent Hills Library: a restored Iranian masterpiece, featuring notable LGBTQ+ themes. The film was screened once, banned, lost for decades, then found in a Tehran junk shop and restored. The film is now recognized for its daring, avant-garde style and queer subtext

Drag Bingo Extravaganza (Pre-Pride Event)

Location: Campbellford Legion
Kick off Pride season with an evening of bingo, dazzling drag performances, laughter, and fabulous prizes. This high-energy event blends classic bingo with live entertainment and community spirit.
