Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Theft, Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 39-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges following a reported theft at a business on Division Street.

On March 3, 2026, officers were dispatched to a business on Division Street after staff reported that an individual had stolen a set of house and vehicle keys. Officers reviewed CCTV footage and identified the suspect. A short time later, officers located the individual walking along nearby train tracks.

As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with Theft Under $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Failure to Comply with Probation Order, Possession of a Schedule I Substance, and Possession of Break and Enter Instruments.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
