Seven people are facing several charges after the seizure of a large amount of illicit drugs and four handguns.
In early December of 2025, the Peterborough/Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) began an investigation involving the trafficking of Cocaine and Fentanyl within the Peterborough area.
On Tuesday January 20, 2026, with the assistance of the City of Kawartha Lakes CSCU, members of the Offender Management Apprehension Program (OMAP), General Law Enforcement (GLE) officers, and the Peterborough Police Service, three separate warrants were simultaneously executed at different locations in Peterborough and Peterborough County resulting in seven arrests and the seizure of a large amount of illicit drugs, seven 3D printed Tasers, and four loaded firearms.
As a result of the search warrant, the following items were seized:
• 2,419 grams of suspected Fentanyl
• 1,234 grams of suspected Cocaine
• 30 grams of suspected Methamphetamine
• 1,104 suspected Percocets
• 1,029 suspected Dilaudids
• A large assortment of Schedule IV prescription medication
• 4 firearms
• 7 3D printed working Tasers
• 2 money counters
• Multiple cell phones
• $39,315 in Canadian currency
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is roughly $375,000
Brett JANES, age 24 of Otonabee-South Monaghan, has been charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Dilaudids
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – MDMA
• Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
• Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
• Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Fail to comply with Release Order
Kylie FORBES, age 21 of Otonabee-South Monaghan, has been charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Dilaudids
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Percocets
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Amanda HILL, age 46 of Peterborough, has been charged with:
• Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
• Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
Stephen MACDONALD, age 51 of Peterborough, has been charged with:
• Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
• Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
Tyler MCMILLAN, age 38 of Peterborough, has been charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
Tyler RICHARDSON, age 35 of Peterborough, has been charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Dilaudids
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Percocets
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – XANAX
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm – three counts
• Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition – three counts
• Careless storage of a firearm – three counts
• Possession of a prohibited device (3D printed Tasers) – seven counts
Dominique IRIBON, age 40 of Peterborough, has been charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Dilaudids
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Percocets
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – XANAX
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm – three counts
• Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition – three counts
• Careless storage of a firearm – three counts
• Possession of a prohibited device (3D printed Tasers) – seven counts
All accused were held for Bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
