Emergency Services Respond to Collision on Highway 401 at Port Hope

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision on Highway 401 in the Municipality of Port Hope on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

At approximately 11 a.m. emergency services were notified of the collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 west of Cty Rd 28 at Port Hope.

The cab of a transport and one vehicle were in the median and the left lane of the westbound lanes were blocked for approximately an hour while emergency services dealt with the collision.

It’s believed two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No word on charges.
