Bring the family for festive cheer in support of the food bank
Experience Cobourg is pleased to announce the CPKC Holiday Train will be stopping in Cobourg on Saturday, November 29 at 12:05 p.m. at the Columbus Community Centre.
The free event supports local food banks, and attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable item or a monetary donation for the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank.
“Having the CPKC Holiday Train stop in Cobourg this year is truly special. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the magic of the season — and knowing it all supports our local food bank makes it even more meaningful,” said Mayor Lucas Cleveland.
There will be parking on-site at the Columbus Community Centre (232 Spencer Street East).
When the train stops, enjoy the live entertainment from the brightly decorated train’s stage with Musical guests Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse.
2025 Holiday Train Schedule
In its 27th year of spreading cheer while collecting food and raising money for food insecurity, the Holiday Train will tour through the U.S. and Canada from November 19 to December 21, 2025.
Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.
