A resident sent Today’s Northumberland a short video of a Cobourg Transit bus that looked in need of mechanical repairs.
The video was taken on Monday, August 11, 2025 shortly before noon in the area of Birchwood Trail in Cobourg’s north end.
The resident said they were very surprised to see the black smoke coming from the exhaust and that it looked more like a smoke screen from a James Bond film than a transit bus.
