Busy day for Cobourg Fire Department attending a number of calls.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, firefighters attended a severed gas line in Cobourg’s east end.

Firefighters stood by for a number of house until Enbridge was able to deal with the incident.

Shortly after 4 p.m. firefighters were called out to 1 King Street East for a sounding smoke detector.

Firefighters determined there was no fire at the scene and dealt with the issue.
