Budget for New Lockers in Victoria Park Was $15,000

In Local

Two sets of lockers are available for use in Victoria Park.

Today’s Northumberland spotted the lockers just south of the Victoria Park bandshell recently.

Each set of lockers has 12 compartments and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

The Town of Cobourg said the budget for the lockers was $15,000 and were approved for the 2025 budget.

These lockers were implemented following requests and feedback the Town received the last few years.

The concept is for people to bring their own lock and have the ability to store their belongings for the day.
