Video – Northumberland Pride Shines in Cobourg

In Local, Photo Gallery

Northumberland Pride festivities took over Cobourg on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

A parade, entertainment, arts and crafts, but for the most part it was an amazing day.

The festivities started off at 11 a.m. with a parade taking place from Victoria Park to the Cobourg Police station.

With the sun shining, people were dressed in bright rainbow colours parading down King Street waving at others.

Jacqueline Pennington, was one of the Northumberland Pride Directors said it was a very busy in downtown Cobourg celebrating Pride.

With an unfortunate event happening two years ago, today’s Northumberland Pride, “was a demonstration of love, acceptance and inclusivity walking down the main street. It is a feel good spirit event and a celebration of joy and love right here in Cobourg.”
