Video – No Information Released After Third Suspicious Fire in Downtown Cobourg

It appears there has been another suspicious fire in downtown Cobourg.

Another visible burn mark was spotted in the alley of 29 King Street East in Cobourg on Friday, June 7, 2025.

Speaking with a tenant in the area, they spotted remnants of the fire in the driveway on Friday morning.

It’s believed the suspicious fire took place sometime overnight Thursday, or Friday morning.

It’s the third suspicious fire in the same alley in a number of weeks, yet Cobourg Police have yet to release any information about the fires.

Police did issue a press release after two porta-potties were believed to have been set ablaze on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
