Uniform Officers with Cobourg Police Service Turn Down Contract Proposal

It’s back to the bargaining table for members of the Cobourg Police Association Bargaining Committee and Police Services Board.

Voting for the 2025-2028 contracts took place in mid-May with the Civilian Collective Agreement being ratified with a 63% margin. (46 people voted).

But the Uniform Collective Agreement was not ratified at 64% (there were 39 votes)

The Association Bargaining Committee and the Board are expected to return to the bargaining table in order to renegotiate prior to conciliation or arbitration.
