The Capitol Theatre is putting out a call for a different kind of volunteer – Artist Hosts for its 2025 Summer Season.

For anyone with a basement suite or guest room (or anyone who needs a house-sitter), it’s a chance to support the Capitol, earn income and connect with a theatre artist.

The Summer Season offers professional theatre, which involves onstage and backstage professionals coming to the community between May and September – some for as long as eight weeks, some for as few as one. Whatever you have to offer, and whenever, the Capitol will work with you.

Hosts typically receive $125 a week, depending on the kind of accommodations, and hosts must provide a walk-through of the accommodation with staff before any agreement is made. If you would like to know more contact rob@capitoltheatre.com
