Peterborough Police – Incidents Include Break and Enter Arrest (No Name Released)

Vehicle Theft Suspects Sought

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after a report of two vehicles stolen from a dealership over the weekend.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, officers were called to the Kawartha Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat dealership in the Lansdowne Street and Spillsbury Drive after employees discovered two vehicles were missing. Both were the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon; one a 2025 model (Anvil grey) and the second a 2021 model (Black).

Officers were able to view CCTV footage of the incident which shows three suspects walk around the vehicles at approximately 10:45pm on Sunday, April 20, 2025, and by 11:00pm both vehicles were driven off the lot and headed eastbound on Lansdowne Street.

Peterborough Woman Arrested for Break and Enter

A 39-year-old Peterborough woman is facing a number of charges in connection with four break and enters over the past week.

At approximately 7:00am on April 19, 2025, officers were called to a residence in the Stewart Street and Dalhousie Street area. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim had returned home to find an unknown woman inside. Officers located a woman matching the description given to police a few blocks away.

During a search after arrest, officers located several items that did not belong to the woman.

Through investigation it was determined the woman was connected to three other incidents that were similar in nature.

As a result, a 39-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:

Break, Enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence X3

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada X2

Use of Credit Card X2

Fail to Comply with Probation Order X4

The accused was scheduled to appear in court today Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
