In Local

Members of the Canadian Coast Guard, along with CFB Trenton 424 Squadron were training along the lakeshore in Cobourg on Thursday November 21, 2024.

A number of SARTECS (Search and Rescue Technicians) parachuted from a C-130 Hercules aircraft and landed on the west beach in Cobourg.

Shortly after a Griffon helicopter hoisted the SARTECS shortly after while a number of people walking along the pathway got a first hand and up-close look at the exercise.
