Murdoch Mysteries Visits Cobourg

Fans of CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries were treated last week as filming took place in downtown Cobourg.

Stars of the show and background actors were very accommodating to members of the public that watched filming take place on Second Street, Third Street and in front of Victoria Hall on King Street on January 31, 2024.

Numerous local people were hired for the day to help with the show including a number of local police officers.

Some businesses in the area were very appreciative of the filming with Murdoch dollars being used, then at the end of the filming the business was reimbursed with real dollars.

There was also a catering truck available for the crew.

Within 24-hours after filming the streets of Cobourg were turned back into 2024 – at least until the next time the show visits Cobourg.
