Cobourg Police Determine Gunshots Were Fireworks

Cobourg Police Service has confirmed that the reports of gunshots heard in the area of King Street East and Cottesmore Street in Cobourg were from fireworks being set off in the area.

Officers will continue to be on scene as they complete the investigation. There is no current threat to public safety.
