Love Your Home Raffle is Back

In Community, Local

By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland
Northumberland Hills Hospital announces the return of the Love Your Home Raffle, presented by Home Hardware Building Centres in Cobourg, Port Hope and Brighton in support of the NHH Foundation’s Galalicious fundraiser.

With tickets on sale through Nov. 10, the raffle offers two chances to win. The first-place prize winner receives a $5,000 Home Hardware gift card, and the second-place prize winner takes home a cordless Dyson vacuum that features all the latest technology.

Tickets are $50 each ($125 for three), available at www.Galalicious.ca or at the foundation office, located just inside the front entrance at NHH (or call 905-372-6811 ext. 3068). All proceeds will help fund medical equipment and technology at the hospital.

“Our local Home Hardware owners have been long-time supporters of NHH, and we’re grateful they’ve joined us once again to present this exciting community raffle in support of Galalicious,” NHH Foundation Community Engagement and Events Specialist Megan Fluxgold said in the announcement.

“We’re proud to partner with NHH Foundation to present the Love Your Home Raffle once again,” said Brad O’Neil – owner of Brighton Home Hardware Building Centre and co-owner of Gilmer’s Home Hardware Building Centre and Cobourg Home Hardware Building Centre.

“Knowing the important role our hospital plays in our community, this is one way for us to give back in support of an organization that is so critical to our customers, staff teams, friends, families and neighbours.”

For more information, visit www.Galalicious.ca, where you can also learn how to book your spot to attend a night out at your choice of 13 participating restaurants in Port Hope, Cobourg, Colborne and Brighton. Participating restaurants have created special menus for the occasion, with ticket prices ranging from $75 to $200 per person, including food, tax, tip and a donation to the NHH Foundation.
