Quinte West OPP – Cruelty to Animals Charge Laid (Name Released)

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a person with cruelty to animals.

On July 9, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Montrose Road, Quinte West, for an animal welfare check. An investigation resulted in an arrest.

Ashley JUBY, 38 years old, from Quinte West has been charged with cruelty to animals.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appea r at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on August 24, 2023.
