Peterborough County OPP – Traffic Stop Leads to Impaired Driving Charge (Name Released)

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Stockdale Road at approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 30, 2022. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and suspended from driving.

Nathan SIMS (age 48) of Peterborough, was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus

• Driving while under suspension

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on September 1, 2022.
