Ministry of Labour Investigating Workplace Incident in Alderville

The Ministry of Labour is investigating a workplace incident that took place in Alderville on Friday, July 22, 2022.

At approximately 10:34 a.m. a worker was injured, possibly crushed by a large metal pipe.

The worker was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital and airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.

The Ministry of Labour stated the worker was injured while working at a new residential construction project.

An Inspector attended the construction project and gave two requirements were issued to the drilling company.

The investigation is ongoing
