Port Hope Resident Wins $100,000 Top Prize with Instant Holiday Magic

Marianne Kennedy of Port Hope is $100,000 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT HOLIDAY MAGIC.

Marianne, an occasional lottery player, said this ticket was a stocking stuffer from her husband! “I was chatting on the phone with my mom while I was playing my ticket,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “When I matched three snowmen, I couldn’t believe it! I told my mom and she told me to call my husband to double check. He scanned the ticket using the OLG App and confirmed!”

The 35-year-old said she was shocked and excited. “I was also nervous about keeping the ticket safe knowing how valuable it was!”

Marianne, who works in finance, said she will invest, complete home renovations, and plan a family vacation somewhere in Canada when it’s safe to travel again.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. As there are limited appointments, we strongly encourage those witch claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit their claims online or mail them. Submitting claims online is fast, secure and enables OLG to process the claim in a timely manner. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.

The winning ticket was purchased at Davis’ Your Independent Grocer on Jocelyn Street in Port Hope.
