The results of a post mortem examination conducted on human remains located in Mariposa Township has confirmed the identity of one of the two missing females from Whitby.

Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were investigating reports of human remains that were located on The Glen Road in Mariposa Township shortly after 7 p.m., on October 24, 2021.
