Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Theft

On Thursday the 30th day of April 2020, at approximately 4:30 pm, Officers were dispatched to attend in the downcore, after receiving information of an alleged theft from a residential address.

As a result of subsequent Police investigation, 43 year old, Chad JENKINS of Cobourg, was located arrested and charged with;
• Theft Under $5,000.00 Contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Contrary to Section 348(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

• Fail to Comply with Probation Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

JENKINS was released from Police custody scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in June of 2020.
