Near Head-On Crash Sends Two To Hospital

A near head-on crash sent two people to hospital in Hamilton Township on Thursday, July 11, 2019.

At approximately 4:15 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to Oak Ridges Drive and Tower Manor Road, south of Bewdley for a two vehicle collision.

Two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions sideswiped each other. A SUV was hauling a trailer full of wood.

Both passenger tires were ripped from the van and another from the other vehicle.

One woman was trapped and was extricated by the Hamilton Township Fire Department.

Two people were transported to hospital, one with serious injuries.

The road was closed for over an hour.

Northumberland OPP are continuing their investigation.
