Cobourg Sends Reminders of March 14 Budget Session

Following a string of special meetings in which the various departments of the Town of Cobourg made their budget presentations to council, the town reminds citizens that a comprehensive special council budget session will take place March 14 to review the final draft budget plan.
The meeting is expected to run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the council chambers on the third floor east at Victoria Hall (55 King St. W.).
The aim of these deliberations is to have a proposed budget to present at the March 18 committee-of-the-whole council meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. Anyone unable to attend can view the proceedings live on the town’s YouTube channel ().
The final draft budget plan has now been posted to the municipal website at www.cobourg.ca, and citizens are invited to review the document and offer comments to Deputy Mayor and Budget Chief Suzanne Seguin () or to any council member.
