Ice Racing Season Kicks Off On Rice Lake

The Oshawa Competition Motorcycle Club held their first event of the season ice racing on Rice Lake on Sunday, January 6, 2019.
Racers from under 5-years-old to 60-years-old took part in the races just off Captain’s Marina in Bewdley.
The races took place throughout the day on a oval track along with a Grand Prix track.
Speeds along the straightaway reached upwards of 75 mph.
There are plans for another seven races on Rice Lake along with one in Tweed for the season of ice racing.
