Cobourg Police – Traffic Initiative Results

On the 19th of December 2018, Cobourg Police Service conducted a traffic initiative monitoring speed, handheld communication devices and carrying proper documentation.
During this initiative 16 Provincial Offences Notices were given to various drivers of motor vehicles including 7 speeding charges, 4 drive motor vehicle no validation on plate, 2 disobey sign, 2 disobey lane sign, 1 fail to surrender insurance card and 1 driver’s licence suspension.
The Cobourg Police would like to remind motorists that the speed limit in Cobourg, unless otherwise posted, is 50 Km/hr.
